Tutoring Experience

With a decade of teaching experience, I've had the privilege of positively impacting numerous students' educational journeys. My teaching journey began with tutoring GCSE and IB students. Over time, my passion for math and commitment to excellence led me to become the Head Math Trainer for important standardized tests like GRE, GMAT, SAT, and IB.

Currently, I teach at four reputable educational institutions. My main focus is on teaching mathematics to A-level, IB, and GCSE students. I aim not only to provide them with a strong grasp of mathematical concepts but also to ignite a genuine enthusiasm for the subject. My goal is to ensure their readiness for future challenges. I take immense pride in inspiring and nurturing the next generation of scholars.

Tutoring Approach

In my teaching approach for IB and A-level Mathematics, I emphasize a systematic and comprehensive delivery of content. I focus on covering one topic at a time to ensure that students grasp the foundational concepts thoroughly, providing them with a strong mathematical foundation. Once we've explored a topic in-depth, I shift our attention to challenging problem-solving exercises, which not only reinforce their knowledge but also help me gauge their understanding.

When it comes to SAT Math, my strategy begins with an initial diagnostic test to assess the student's skill level. I use this assessment to pinpoint areas where they face difficulties and then tailor my teaching to address these specific conceptual gaps. Through targeted lessons and practice, we collaboratively work to bridge these gaps. Regular weekly tests are a vital component of our approach, allowing me to closely monitor their progress. This ongoing assessment ensures that we adapt our methods as necessary to facilitate improvement and bolster their confidence in SAT Math.
