Tutoring Experience

I have tutored more than 60 students across IB Economics, Biology, English and Psychology, both online and in person, and have helped students raise predicted grades. My teaching also includes MYP Economics, Biology, Language and Literature and History. I support students with core content, essay structure, data-response questions, Internal Assessment and IB exam preparation, using past mark schemes, timed exam practice and targeted revision to focus on the areas where marks are being lost.

Tutoring Approach

I start with the assessment criteria, because students work more effectively once they know what earns marks. In Economics, Psychology and English, we build flexible essay frameworks and practise breaking down command terms. Biology lessons use diagrams, data and unfamiliar scenarios to test application rather than recall alone. I use active recall, spaced revision and timed exam practice questions, then adjust the plan around recurring errors, IA feedback and the student's next assessment.
