Qualified Tutor | MSc in Economic Policy | LSE

I scored 43/45 in the IB and have been tutoring its subjects since 2022. I teach Geography, History, Environmental Systems and Societies and English A Lang Lit, all at HL/SL. I’m now pursuing an MSc in Economic Policy for International Development at the London School of Economics, where my interest in how policy affects people and places keeps connecting back to the IB.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve worked as an IB tutor for students from my high school since May 2022, and have also taught through several tutoring organisations. My teaching spans four IB subjects: Geography, History, ESS and English A Lang Lit, at SL and HL. I bring my own experience of the Diploma to lessons, including the study habits and exam strategies that helped me achieve 43/45.

Tutoring Approach

Some students want to make sense of a topic; others need to sharpen essays or exam technique. We can work through a concept with examples, practise structuring a written answer, or focus on the demands of a particular question. We can also plan essays and practise using evidence. I can set optional homework if you want to keep going between lessons.
