Personally Interviewed

Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve delivered over 4,000 tutoring sessions across GCSE and A-level Maths and Science. Alongside tutoring, I’ve worked as a SEN Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor, and volunteered as a STEM Ambassador. I’ve also had placements in Mechanical Engineering and Fire Engineering at Arup. That mix of tutoring, school experience and industry work has helped me teach students with different needs and levels of confidence. I focus on clear explanations, structured revision and exam technique.

Tutoring Approach

Each lesson starts with what the student needs most: a clearer explanation, more practice or a better way to approach exam questions. I use diagrams and worked examples to make abstract material easier to follow, then give students time to try problems themselves. I can support those building core understanding and those looking for more challenging questions.

Testimonials

My son has been much more interested in Maths ever since he started his tutoring in Maths with Zaber. He said to me before that he hated maths and used to fail on school tests. It’s been a year now and the improvement is astronomical. He has been getting 87% on his tests and he has also got 2nd place in a maths competition- I actually can’t believe it.
