Qualified Online Tutor | BSc Mathematics

I'm a Mathematics graduate offering GCSE and IGCSE Maths tuition at Foundation and Higher level. I've supported over 40 students through one-to-one and group lessons, helping them understand methods and prepare for exams. I pay particular attention to the wording of questions, so you can recognise what is being asked and decide where to start when the layout is unfamiliar.

Tutoring Experience

I've worked with over 40 students, providing one-to-one and group Maths support, including GCSE Foundation and Higher. My work has involved planning activities, preparing resources and marking students' answers with individual feedback. I've taught learners with different starting points, adapting explanations and practice to suit their needs. I also offer IGCSE Maths support, with exam questions and feedback to help students apply methods independently and explain their working fully.

Tutoring Approach

I like to hear how you reached an answer, even if it isn't correct. It helps me see whether we need to revisit the idea, the calculation or the wording of the question. We work through a simple example together, then you try applying the method yourself. I'll ask you to explain your choices in more detail so we can check the reasoning as well as the answer. For exam preparation, we use exam-style questions to practise recognising what is required and setting out working clearly under exam conditions.
