Tutoring Experience

I have private online tutoring experience across A-Level, GCSE and Medicine applications, supporting students with Biology, Chemistry and UCAT alongside medical school interview preparation. I have worked with applicants targeting competitive courses and help students move between subject content, exam technique and application strategy. My biochemistry background is especially useful for genetics, cells, molecular biology, enzymes, organic chemistry and metabolism.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is calm, structured and encouraging. I use my own notes and resources alongside exam questions, past papers and mark schemes, making sure core knowledge is secure before moving into application-style questions. For UCAT, I focus on timing, question types and reviewing mistakes properly. For Biology and Chemistry, I emphasise mechanisms, wording and how marks are awarded. For applications, I also help students make answers specific, reflective and evidence-based.
