Personally Interviewed

Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve supported students with their learning, explaining difficult topics and changing my approach when an idea needs more time. I’ve led mock interviews and offered application advice to aspiring dentists. My own preparation resulted in a UCAT score of 3110 and five offers after medicine and dentistry interviews. Through tutoring and dental training at Bristol, I’ve developed revision techniques I can share, alongside experience helping students work through questions and ask for help.

Tutoring Approach

You should feel able to stop me when something doesn’t make sense. I break difficult topics into smaller sections, use examples to explain them and ask questions to check what you’ve understood. Active recall helps us see what you can remember without looking at your notes. For interview preparation, mock sessions give you space to practise answering aloud. I share study techniques you can use between lessons, so you have a practical way to keep working on the areas you find difficult.
