I’m a third year Natural Sciences student at Homerton college, University of Cambridge, specializing in Pharmacology this year. I also regularly undergo research projects, the most recent of which looks at exploring how toxic different compounds are to mouse and human cell lines. I’ve been tutoring a range of subjects since my A-level years, and am happy to offer lessons and guidance to anyone looking to improve their grades/understanding in the sciences.

Tutoring Experience

I started tutoring GCSE Maths & Sciences during my A-levels, and led multiple students to grade 9’s in their exams, and I still offer tuition in these subjects today. On top of these, I now also offer tuition in anything Cambridge Natural Science related – whether that be personal statement guidance, NSAA tuition or interview preparation. I have helped multiple students get offers from their selected college, and have been preparing many students for their interviews this year.

Tutoring Approach

GCSEs: I try to simplify all the confusion that students tend to have when it comes to their GCSE material. I like to focus on showing students the big picture, and how the things they learn all fit together. If you can do this, GCSEs become a quite simple set of exams, and all you then need is some exam prowess, and I will be happy to teach you everything you need for them.

Cambridge Natural Sciences: I can offer personal statement lessons, where we go through all the elements & structure of your writing, and fine-tune everything to maximise your chance of interview. On top of this, I’m happy to share with you the extra creativity you’ll need in your thinking to ace the NSAA. Thirdly, if you are lucky enough to be facing an interview, I can perform mock interviews and tuition for students, using my own personal experiences and all that I’ve learned at Cambridge these past few years.
