Qualified Online Tutor | Master's in Machine Learning

I tutor A-Level Maths and Further Maths, GCSE and IGCSE Maths, and IB Maths AA and AI at SL and HL. My students achieved IB 7s and A-Level A*s. I achieved A*s in both Maths A-Levels and teach in English or Mandarin. My Maths and Machine Learning background helps me explain how probability is used in AI, with stretch questions to extend students beyond the syllabus.

Tutoring Experience

I teach A-Level Maths and Further Maths, GCSE and IGCSE Maths, and IB Maths AA and AI at SL and HL. My experience includes a full academic year teaching high-attainment Maths classes. I planned lessons, marked homework and made written and video explanations for questions students frequently got wrong. I used this work to adjust the pace and difficulty of later lessons. Parents received specific feedback on progress, with topics to practise at home and clear expectations for next term.

Tutoring Approach

A repeated mistake often tells me more than a page of correct answers. I use a few questions to find the idea behind it, then explain that idea through a worked example. You'll take over the reasoning as we go, so I can see whether the method makes sense to you. For students who need more challenge, I use unfamiliar problems and connections to machine learning. I also give parents specific feedback, including what we've covered and which topics would benefit from more practice at home.
