Tutoring Experience

I have taught more than 100 students across IB Maths AA/AI, AP Calculus, A-Level Maths and Further Maths, and GCSE/IGCSE Maths. My teaching covers pure mathematics, mechanics and statistics, from algebra and calculus to vectors, matrices, probability and differential equations. I also specialise in ESAT, TMUA, and STEP preparation, and have taught undergrad statistics to during my doctoral studies, alongside interview-style mathematics for competitive university applications.

Tutoring Approach

I begin with diagnostic questions to see how a student reasons, not just whether the final answer is correct. For IB, AP, A-Level and GCSE/IGCSE Maths, I move from clear explanations into progressively harder problems and timed practice. Admissions-test lessons place more weight on proof, unfamiliar questions and choosing efficient approaches. I reduce hints as students improve, compare alternative methods and use detailed feedback to sharpen accuracy, presentation and time management.
