Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught Maths and Physics at GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level, alongside GCSE/IGCSE Chemistry and Biology. I’ve prepared students for the ESAT, helping them apply their subject knowledge to admissions questions. My students have achieved A*s and grade 9s. Across these subjects, I help with topics that need another explanation and the exam questions that put them to use. My background in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London supports my work with calculations and problem-solving.

Tutoring Approach

Show me how you would start a question and we can see which areas of study need attention. I build on what you understand, explain the missing steps and then introduce past-paper questions. In Maths and Physics, we look at how to choose a method and follow it through. For Chemistry and Biology, I help you turn your understanding into clear answers. ESAT preparation brings the same focus to admissions questions, with time to discuss your reasoning and practise applying it independently.
