Tutoring Experience

I have taught A-Level Maths alongside IGCSE/GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in both one-to-one and group settings. Tutoring Approach

I organise lessons around three stages: understand, remember and apply. In A-Level and GCSE Maths, I use worked examples before moving to independent problems and timed practice. For IGCSE/GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, I use the specification, retrieval questions and past papers to test understanding. Students explain ideas back to me, then tackle harder exam questions, with targeted homework, mark-scheme review and detailed marking to address mistakes and timing.
