Tutoring Experience

I’ve supported IB students with their exam preparation, helping them improve predicted and final grades through focused revision and feedback. My support covers Internal Assessments and university applications. In Maths AA, Physics, Chemistry and Economics, I help students decide exactly what needs attention and which study methods suit them. I offer ESAT and SAT preparation, drawing on my emphasis on recognising question types and choosing a clear, efficient route through the problem.

Tutoring Approach

Rather than treating every question as a new challenge, I group problems by the ideas and methods they share. We look for familiar patterns, practise the steps that earn marks and examine mistakes that can cost them. I vary revision tasks to suit the student and keep the workload realistic alongside coursework deadlines. For IAs, I give feedback on what needs attention. Lessons focus on the key material and practical techniques, with room to change methods when something isn’t working.
