Tutoring Experience

Across more than five years I’ve taught both individuals and small cohorts, delivering intensive courses and weekly clinics for STEP, MAT, TMUA and ESAT. My pupils range from early Year 12 explorers to gap-year re-applicants, and three secured Cambridge mathematics offers last cycle alone. I also design targeted problem sets, write full solutions, and run mock assessments, personal-statement surgeries and panel-style interviews so students arrive at interview day fluent and fearless. I have also hosted summer masterclasses for high-achieving international applicants.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions are dialogue-driven: we tackle unseen problems live, annotate on a shared whiteboard and probe every choice until the method feels obvious. Between lessons pupils keep full board access and curated question banks, enabling spaced repetition. I adjust pace to each student, using Socratic prompts, schematic summaries and timed drills so conceptual clarity and speed develop together.
