Tutoring Experience

My teaching spans over five years, with individual tuition and group workshops. I offer A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Economics, IB Maths AA at SL or HL, and English as a Foreign Language. I've taught GCSE algebra, geometry and statistics, supported IELTS preparation and developed financial education materials on budgeting, saving and investing. In English lessons, I work on reading, writing, listening and speaking, with practice that links language skills to everyday communication.

Tutoring Approach

A question can look less daunting once you've found the idea it is testing. We start with the rules behind a method, model or sentence structure, then use them to work through a problem. I ask you to explain the concept aloud without your notes; that often shows us what needs another look. If you get stuck, I'll ask a follow-up question to help you find the next step. We also practise separating useful information from extra detail, so you can approach unfamiliar questions with a starting point.
