Tutoring Experience

Over the years, I have learned how to approach problems logically and communicate ideas clearly skills I now pass on to my students. After university, I worked as a learning mentor supporting children with academic development, study skills and classroom confidence. This experience showed me the importance of patience, encouragement and personalised guidance, which has shaped the teacher I am today.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is thoughtful, steady and centred on understanding rather than memorisation. For the 11+, I cover Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, helping students develop strong foundational skills and a positive mindset around problem-solving. I design each lesson around the individual, using a mix of guided practice, small challenges and discussion to keep students engaged. I want every pupil to feel able to think independently, manage pressure and walk into their exams knowing they can succeed.
