Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience teaching Maths and Physics from GCSE/IGCSE through to A-Level, including A-Level Further Maths and GCSE/IGCSE Further Maths. I support students with full-topic teaching, homework, revision planning and past-paper preparation, adapting lessons for different abilities. My Maths teaching covers areas such as algebra, calculus and mechanics, while Physics tuition develops both conceptual understanding and confidence with calculations and extended problems.

Tutoring Approach

I first check the foundations behind a topic, as gaps there often make harder Maths and Physics problems unnecessarily difficult. For A-Level Maths and Further Maths, I use carefully chosen problems to develop method selection and multi-step reasoning. GCSE/IGCSE lessons reinforce core techniques before moving into exam questions. In Physics, I connect equations to the underlying physical idea, then use unfamiliar problems so students learn to reason rather than memorise solutions.
