Tutoring Experience

As a school and college Maths Lecturer, I have 15 years of experience teaching A-Level Further Maths and helping students consistently achieve top grades. I introduced and designed the A-Level Further Maths curriculum at a specialist school, leading students to earn the highest results in the school’s history. Over 70% of my Further Maths students have achieved A-A* grades, with many securing Oxbridge offers.

At my current college, I teach challenging A-Level Further Maths modules, including Pure Maths, Further Statistics, Further Mechanics, and Decision Maths. I also prepare selected students for Oxbridge entrance exams, ensuring their mastery of advanced mathematical concepts.

From 2018 to 2021, I focused on delivering A-Level Further Maths lessons, covering Core 1 and 2, Mechanics, and Statistics. I developed a comprehensive scheme of work tailored to the 2017 specification and used end-of-topic assessments to ensure deep understanding. My lessons have been praised for their clarity and ability to build students’ confidence in complex topics.

Since 2021, I have worked with a tutoring organisation to teach Further Maths to both exceptionally bright and SEN students. My students consistently improve by two grades above their school predictions, benefiting from my targeted interventions and tailored strategies.
