Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring IB Maths AA, IB Physics and IB Chemistry at SL and HL, as well as supporting students with ESAT Physical Sciences, ESAT Chemistry and SAT Maths. I help students strengthen core understanding, handle longer multi-step questions and improve exam technique. I also cover how to set out working clearly for exam method marks. My recent IB experience also helps me give practical guidance on syllabus changes, question styles, GDC use, formula booklet methods and common mistakes.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons stay closely aligned with the IB curriculum, using the formula booklet, GDC and past paper mark schemes throughout. I break down difficult ideas through clear explanations, derivations and discussion, then move into exam-style practice so students can apply what they know. For ESAT and SAT Maths, I also use timed practice to build speed, accuracy and stronger problem selection. I also focus on how to structure answers for marks, especially in longer IB questions where method and reasoning matter.
