Tutoring Experience

I've taught Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science at GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level, helping students achieve A*s and grade 9s. My experience also includes GCSE Combined Science support. I identify the areas that need revisiting, explain the ideas and work through practice questions with clear feedback before setting independent exercises. My lessons include work to complete between sessions, letting students practise methods and check what they can do on their own.

Tutoring Approach

We'll start by comparing the topics you want help with against what your answers show. Sometimes the sticking point is earlier material that needs another look. I'll explain that first, then walk through practice questions with you. After that, you'll try exercises on your own so we can see which parts have made sense and which still need work. I set work between lessons to give you another chance to use the method independently, rather than only recognising it while I'm demonstrating.
