Tutoring Experience

I have many years of private tutoring experience across A-Level, GCSE and Medicine applications. I’ve supported students with A-Level Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, and preparation for medical school interviews and applications. Several students I have worked with have gone on to receive offers from competitive medical schools, including Imperial, UCL and King’s. I also help students plan revision, practise past papers and use mark schemes to improve exam prep.

Tutoring Approach

I use a mix of my own notes, topic explanations and exam questions, depending on where the student is with the content. I usually make sure the basics are solid first, then move into past papers and mark schemes so students learn how to pick up marks. I focus on understanding rather than memorising, especially in Biology and Chemistry, while using repeated question practice for Maths and Physics. I also review mistakes carefully and set targeted follow-up work so weak areas are not repeated in future papers.
