Tutoring Experience

Over the past six years I’ve guided dozens of sixth-formers from first lesson to offer day. My students include philosophers who jumped from B grades to secure A* and politicians who raised essay scores by two bands in one term. Five tutees earned places at Oxford or Cambridge last year alone. I design weekly TSA problem sets, mark essays overnight, and run termly mock interviews with rotating panels of alumni, ensuring each pupil meets the exacting standards of admissions tutors.

Tutoring Approach

Sessions blend Socratic dialogue with exam-focused technique. We start by dissecting arguments, then map them into essay plans or TSA logic trees. I use live annotation, timed drills and quick-fire recall games to cement content. Homework is tailored, concise, and returned with line-by-line feedback so progress is visible and measurable each week.
