Tutoring Experience

I have taught IB Physics and Chemistry at SL and HL, as well as IGCSE Maths and Sciences, through one-to-one tuition. My work covers difficult content, past-paper practice, exam timing and Internal Assessment guidance, including methodology, data presentation, technical writing, exam feedback. I also support IB Maths AA SL/HL, SAT Maths and ESAT preparation, drawing on strong results in these subjects and a detailed understanding of mathematical and scientific problem-solving in timed exams.

Tutoring Approach

I teach from first principles, so students understand the reasoning behind a formula before using it. In Maths and Physics, we derive relationships where useful and then apply them with precision to unfamiliar problems. Chemistry lessons combine theory with calculations and data interpretation. I use past papers to sharpen timing and exam technique, while IA support focuses on methodology, analysis and presentation.
