The second stage is the inventory analysis, which involves data collection and calculation procedures to quantify relevant inputs and outputs of a product system. The third stage is the impact assessment, which evaluates the significance of potential environmental impacts based on the inventory flow results.
The final stage is the interpretation, which identifies, quantifies, checks, and evaluates the information from the inventory analysis and the impact assessment. The results are then reported in a transparent manner and the necessary conclusions are drawn.
