How does GDP measure economic development?

GDP measures economic development by calculating the total value of goods and services produced in a country.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a key indicator used to gauge the health of a country's economy. It sums up the value of all goods and services produced over a specific time period, usually a year.
