Qualified Online Tutor | MEng Engineering | Imperial College London
I tutor Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science, alongside ESAT preparation. I bring three years of online tutoring and two years of in-person teaching to lessons. My Mechanical Engineering background includes thermofluids, energy systems and power-plant experience, so I can explain how and where equations are used and help you make sense of unfamiliar problems.

Tutoring Experience
I've taught Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level for three years, through long-term one-to-one tuition. I also offer IGCSE support in these subjects and ESAT preparation. Before this, I spent two years teaching in person, adapting explanations for varied ages and abilities. My work includes rebuilding subject knowledge, past-paper practice and exam technique. I stay with difficult topics until students can tackle questions without waiting for a prompt.
Tutoring Approach
You hold the pen; I ask the questions. I'd rather let you work through a difficult attempt than jump in with the answer. In Physics and mechanics, we discuss what's happening before choosing an equation: which forces act, in which direction, and what changes? In Maths, we use past papers early and look at what earns marks. It's fine to say you don't understand. Between exams, I look for whether you can begin an unfamiliar problem independently, so we have something concrete to work on.
