Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching 11+, GCSE and A-Level students in both one-to-one and group settings. My subjects include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English and Psychology, alongside UCAT preparation. I have planned lessons, set homework and created revision resources tailored to each student. I also support 11+ pupils with comprehension, verbal reasoning, Maths and Science, using past papers and targeted practice. I also help students develop stronger study habits between lessons.

I begin by identifying the topics a student finds most difficult, then shape lessons around their goals and current level. I explain concepts clearly before moving on to guided questions, timed practice and exam-style tasks. I use mark schemes to show students how to structure stronger answers and review progress regularly so lessons stay focused. My teaching style is patient and adaptable, with plenty of opportunity for students to ask questions. I encourage students to reflect on mistakes between lessons.
