Tutoring Experience

Over the past several years I’ve tutored Maths and Physics from GCSE through A-Level, and spent five years teaching Maths at a Kumon centre. I specialise in rebuilding shaky fundamentals, then moving quickly to exam-style problems and extension tasks. I’ve supported students aiming for 9s and A*s and those catching up after gaps. I also coach for ESAT (Physical), designing question sets and timed drills that mirror the test so students improve accuracy and speed, including calculus and mechanics practice.

Tutoring Approach

Diagnostic start → weekly targets. We blend first-principles explanations with spaced recall, curated past-paper sets, and examiner-style marking. Checkpoints each lesson, mixed-topic reviews each fortnight. For ESAT (Physical), I train rapid algebra, calculus, vectors, data interpretation and estimation under time pressure. You’ll leave with concise notes, model solutions, and a clear question bank to master before the next session.
